IPhone Dev. Applications: There is no promo codes button in iTunes

Question

I have several applications in my iTunes Developer Backend. Since yesterday, the Promo Code button is missing from some of my app viewing details. My other apps still have this button, and I can download the promotional codes. Does anyone know this problem and can solve it?

Thank you for contacting Apple Developer Support regarding iTunes Connect Promotional Codes. please know that applications rated 17+ will not be provided with Advertising Codes for distribution. Thus, the Normal button for requesting iTunes Connect promo codes will not be displayed for these applications in the Detailed page version.

If you control what you send, is it censorship or dictatorship?

Are you viewing the current version? should be next to Manage Localizations

A few months ago they updated to iTunesConnect.

I had the same problem, so I emailed Apple. Here is their answer:

Thank you for contacting Apple Developer Support regarding iTunes Connect ad codes. Please keep in mind that applications with a rating of 17+ will not be provided with advertising codes for distribution. Thus, the usual button for requesting promo codes in iTunes Connect will not be visible to these applications on the version information page.

This allowed me a secret.

Is your app rated 17+? Apple recently turned off promo codes for apps rated 17+.

Just in case, when anyone else is looking, I found the Promo Codes button on the Features tab. Not on the App Store tab of the app details page in iTunes Connect.
