How to assign shortcuts that activate different installed extensions of Chrome?

I have several extensions (with their icons on the right). I would like to assign a shortcut to activate each of them, i.e. A shortcut that simulates a mouse click on them.

One extension, for example. this is a dictionary, and it would be more useful to be able to open it without the need to manipulate the mouse.

In this case, you can do this in chrome://extensions , if you go to the bottom of the page and find the "Configure commands" link.

I am also interested in how to do this, and here is a possible solution proposed by Misha Kupriyanov:

You can use the Chrome + Paul Kinlan Quick Disable extension (you can find the source on github)

It uses the chrome.management API http://code.google.com/chrome/extensions/management.html

and now you can write your own pageAction extension;) = enable on each page your JavaScript to catch events on the keyboard and initiate on / off events through the chrome.management API

Also check out Vimium (also open source) Ilya Sukhar (I'm not sure what his account is)

Try Autohot, it’s a free tool that simplifies the automation of such things, the easiest way:

  • wait until your "keyboard shortcut" is launched.
  • check google chrome is the active window
  • click on a fixed coordinate of the mouse to activate the extension
