Eclipse project naming conventions?

Are there naming conventions (or at least suggestions) on what to name the Eclipse project? Does acronyms use a good idea?

The Eclipse Foundation itself has recommendations . Instead, org.eclipse.... custom domain of your own!

Edit : I have no documented best practices. But I use the name of the main package in the project as the name of the project. The abbreviations are fine if you have long names. Example:

 Java Developement Tools -> JDT
