Which browsers support the orientation function of the HTML5 device?

I tried watching http://slides.html5rocks.com/#slide-orientation and it doesn’t work in Chrome 10 (dev channel), which I thought supported all slide shows. I also tried to download the same slide from the Nexus One, which is the phone used for images in the spec , but that didn't work either. Does any device / browser support device support? Will it work on laptops with technology?

Also, what should this slide do when orientation works?

Not yet, but people in the WebKit community are implementing it. I hope in a couple of months it will be available. Usually timeframes for new features are not set in stone.

There is a preview technology in Opera Mobile that supports device orientation and the getUserMedia() API getUserMedia() .
