ASP.NET Knowledge Update

Question

I did ASP.NET professional development in 1.1 days and was aware of the debate that was soon to be installed in version 2.0 (for example, master pages and page inheritance). Since then, I continued to use .net in depth through 3.5, with the exception of my use of ASP.NET.

I would like to know your choice of resources in order to get on ASP.NET (again). Of course, I already found some help:

I doubt these samples are complete, and I still had to wonder about ASP.NET meta-facts, such as "what are its flaws?" "How does age show?" "What ASP.NET methods were bloated, but later turned out to be a bust?"
