Game center security? iPhone SDK

After learning about the hacker who made the exploit send any game center, I was wondering if anyone could solve this. As far as I think, before the application sends the invoice, it intercepts it and changes the value, after which it sends the leaderboard. It's impossible. If a hacker intercepts data sent to the server, he has access to it and can change it.
