Create Retina Show Friendly App

I have an application and you want to make it mesh-friendly display.

How does this process work? What images do I need to add in addition to what I have?

I know that the sizes should be different, but not sure about the details?

What else needs to be done to display the retina?

If the device is detected and uses other images, if the device supports retina display?

What if there are many images? And how will this affect the size of the application?

In general, you simply create 2 sets of images. Your original and then new is twice as large with @ 2x in the title. So for image.png of size 32x32 you will have one that is twice as large as the resolution with the name image@2x.png size 64x64. In your application, always use image.png in Interface Builder and when loading code.

There is no need to detect the device. These images will be automatically picked up by the OS and loaded as needed.

The main thing is that working with the image of the retina is an agreement on the name of the image. And the image size should be 2 times larger than usual1. Example. If your icon name for regular is icon.png, then it should be icon@2x.png for the retina. The second thing is the size for the regular 72 * 72, then it should be 144 * 144 for Retina. This may be useful for you.
