Windows phone 7 image metadata

Is there a way to read image data such as date image, file name, GPS location and other information stored inside images stored in the media library?

From what I can find the GDI + components that you need for this, these are not currently available on the phone (or Silverlight, for that matter). You can have a web service that will provide you with this data, or you can look at moving the desktop library, it seems that some people here have benefited from this.

There is also a project called ExifLib that downloads metadata without the additional overhead of GDI +. http://www.codeproject.com/KB/graphics/exiflib.aspx
