Javascript autocomplete for DSL. (ex: SQL)

I want to give the user a web page where he can enter plain SQL.

select * from myTable.

I would like the autocomplete area to help print:

  • Sel

  • [CHOOSE]

  • select * f

  • [select * fROM]

  • select * from

  • [select * fROM column1]
  • [select * fROM column2]
  • ...

Can anyone suggest if there is a good open source library for this?

I'm not interested in SQL (I have to parse DSL) I'm more interested in a powerful autocomplete text area widget.

I left this unanswered for a while. I am afraid it is fair to say that there is no autocomplete widget as described in my question.
