AutoFill IDE for HTML and PHP

I am looking for HTML and PHP (or IDE) editors that have autocomplete features. Please can anyone recommend?

  • Linux autofill IDE (based on Debian)
  • Mac OS AutoFill IDE (10.6)

Eclipse has an autocomplete function. On a Mac, you may have to do some extra configuration, but in my place it works like a charm!

You can find the download for eclipse PDT (PHP edition) here

@Neilvert Noval Wow :). I don’t know how much you expect it.

PHPStorm http://www.jetbrains.com/phpstorm/ offers the most appropriate resolution and speed for the php class (which is important because eclipse is very slow) and deployment functions

You can try Dreamweaver CS5. This is the IDE that I use, and it fully serves my purpose. CS5 offers excellent PHP support.

I personally prefer netbeans for editing. It has amazing autocomplete and can also show reference data for functions, etc. using the w3schools help site. The IDE is very stable and one of my favorite events. To view its homepage, click here.

Also its debugging support for php is one of the best I've ever used.

I am using Eclipse (PDT) http://www.eclipse.org/pdt/ . This is a PHP IDE and supports automatic completion / allusion to JavaScript, HTML, PHP 5.3, CSS and more if you add additional components for this. It works on every system. I am running it on ubuntu (based on debian). MacOS will work.
