Colors of the xdebug var_dump function

I installed xdebug on my windows computer and it works fine by default - the traces are bright and beautiful, but on another computer with ubuntu 10.10 it is colorless and without any formatting. I tried to fill in the xdebug formatting options in php.ini, but for me this did not work :(

What do I need to do to improve output formatting?

I ran into this problem once and it turned out:

open php.ini and find html_errors , in your case it should be off

just turn it on and restart apache

and you will be good to go :)
