Curl / curl.h on Windows

In my C ++ script there is the following:

#include "curl/curl.h"

When I try to compile it, I get the following error:

\ Users \ username \ Desktop \ Temp \ talkbot \ main.cpp C: \ Users \ username \ Desktop \ Temp \ talkbot \ C curl.h: there is no such file or directory.

So, I searched and tried to load cURL for windows. I finished work on http://www.paehl.com/open_source/?CURL_7.21.3 and select "Download without SSL". I downloaded it and I just got curl.exe.

What should I do with this file to get curl.h? Thanks in advance.

Instead of loading cURL, downloab libcurl. For Windows, you can use the following links:

http://curl.haxx.se/download/libcurl-7.19.3-win32-ssl-msvc.zip

http://www.gknw.net/mirror/curl/win32/curl-7.21.3-devel-mingw32.zip

You can get the required files in the source archive on the cURL website:

I came across this answer now (2014) and some links are out of date.

For all the general information (all platforms) you can start reading http://curl.haxx.se

There is a download wizard to help you choose the most current and appropriate file or binary file at the moment http://curl.haxx.se/dlwiz/ . To answer this question, "libcurl" must be selected in the wizard. At the moment, win64 only seems to be available in the cygwin version, so go to win32 until this changes.
