In eclipse, you go to run-> build or if you automatically enable the build, you can go to the project file structure and just copy the .apk file from the bin folder. You can put this on your device’s SD card and install it there. No need to do unsigned export apk.

The .apk file must be signed.

Eclipse automatically generates a .apk signed with a debug key in bin / YourApp.apk. It is normal to use this file for testing, but you should not give this .apk to clients or end users, because you will not be able to update this application in the future.

If you intend to publish this .apk to your customers, you must use your own key to sign .apk. Read: Signing Your Applications

Make sure you turn on "Unknown sources" in the application section of your phone settings.

If you are already running your project on an emulator, you simply close this emulator. And goes to

Project->clean Project->BuildProject.

And then run the project in the emulator and then test it

 bin/res/your.apk file

Instead of Export Unassigned, you should use Export Signed.

Google does not allow the Android system to install the "Export Unassigned" apk, see here β†’ http://developer.android.com/tools/publishing/app-signing.html .

"Export Signed", read here β†’ http://www.srccodes.com/p/article/23/build-android-application-package-file-apk-using-eclipse-ide-and-android-development-tools- adt plugin
