Best / most comprehensive jQuery user interface library?

Question

We are looking for the best jQuery-based user interface library we can find. It does not have to be free. What do people use?

We used jQueryUI , but the development seems to have stalled. Not much new for a long time.

jQuery Tools looks sleek and professional, but has a very limited number of widgets.

Here we need:

• Menu (horizontal, vertical)
  
• Date Picker -
• Tabs
  
• Autofill
  
• Editable combo box
• Decent grid -
• Decent tree
• Dialog boxes
  
• One of these controls, which allows you to move items from one vertical list to another, is not sure what they call.
  

Nice to have, it doesn't matter:

• Google Maps Control
• File manager

It would also be nice to have themes like jQueryUI. Does anyone know such a library?

Are you sure you are looking for a suitable place? I go down to jqueryui.com and I see a lot of recent work. Let's look at some of the latter : 1.8 was released in March, and they already made seven maintenance releases (adding features, not just fixing bugs) in nine months, the last of which was 1.8.7 less than two weeks ago, with a proven, certified jQuery 1.4.4 support (which was released only on November 11) plus improvements for various controls ( Button , DatePicker , ...). There is a small part of cleaning up the API for 1.9 (and new things, including menus that may interest you), they spoke at conferences, updating their CDN. Certainly not "stalled."

I think a combination of jQuery UI and several plugins of choice from the plugin library for things that it does not provide would be a good start. Like everything that you get for free, you need to check things out for yourself and do your own analysis of the quality of the code before doing anything, but ...

Looking at your list:

• The menu (horizontal, vertical) is Gap, but 1.9 should at least partially access it (and you can actually use what they have in 1.8)
• Date Picker - Check
• Tabs - Check
• Autofill - Check
• Editable combo box - Check . I think; The autocomplex can be configured in various ways.
• Decent grid - Gap if you're talking about working with a'la ExtJS large tables
• Worthy Tree - Break
• Dialogs - Check
• One of these controls that allows you to move items from one vertical list to another - not sure what they are called - Check , in jQuery UI - this is the Sortable configuration; demo here

... and, besides, all this is very important, with clear documentation on topics and a lot of ready-made topics (plus a tool that will help you create your own). Resistance to lessons is important for integration into websites.

I'm not "rah rah rah" about the jQuery user interface, I just say it looks like a project with very high standards and high activity, so it "stalled", it just somehow jumped at me ..

I know that the question is quite old, but we have been working successfully for several months. EasyUI http://www.jeasyui.com/

We like the ease of implementation through the attributes of the html element, and the project seems to be growing and living for several years. On the “bad side”, the document is quite simple, the forums are not so useful and not clear (at least for us) who is behind it.
