How to reload synonyms.txt file in Solr?

Question

When I changed my synonyms. txt, I only see the differences when I do this:

• restart the solr server
• indexed some element (empty commit?)

Does anyone know how to reload synonyms.txt file without reload server?

Rebooting the kernel should also reload synonyms. I almost always bind indexes to kernels (even if it is only one kernel per instance) because of the increased flexibility it provides (as in this case).
