How can I see the SQL script that was used to create the view? I am using MS SQL Server Management Studio Express 2008.
In the object explorer (left panel):- Right click image- Script See how →- CREATE IN →- New request editor window
This will open a new request window with the creation of a Script for presentation.
Right-click View → Modify
EDIT: much better
Right click on View → Script View As → Create TO
There you can export the created Script to the destination of your choice
