Problem with python urllib

Question

I get an error when I ever try to pull a webpage from urllib.urlopen. I turned off Windows Firewall and my AV, so this is not the case. I can access the pages in my browser. I even reinstalled python to rule out that this is a broken urllib. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just found a problem that I installed proxies through the Internet options, which proxy disconnected, and my python shell.

urllib is working fine.

Try using an etheric (or some similar network sniffer) in your field to determine if the denial of your computer or machine is denied.
