Trouble downloading an app to your iPad?

I developed a simple app for the iPad. I want to check the application, how it works on the device. I paid the developer license, and I added the device identifier and created the application identifier, and I downloaded the provisioning profile using both.

Just like we are going to create an iphone app that I made for ipad.

I sent the provisioning profile and the .ipa file to my friend for download to the ipad device (the same device I added to developer.apple.com).

when he tried to drag the transfer file to the device from iTunes, it will be below the error.

"abc.mobileprovision" was not copied to the iPad because the iPad cannot be used on this iPad

I can not understand what the exact error is. Can someone please let me know how to reset application on ipad device?

The mobileprovision file should be dropped to the Library group, not to the device.
