How can I evaluate the git-svn limit?

I am looking for git-svn great repo on a busy and underpowerd svn server. I would like to say git-svn to be polite and keep up with the server for people doing real work. Can I do it?

One approach might be to run svnsync to first create a clone of the entire Subversion repository, then run git svn against the clone. Alternatively, you can use svnadmin dump and svnadmin load (on another machine).

After running git svn clone to a Subversion clone, you may need to set up a Git repository (in particular, the URL of the Subversion repository) to point to your real Subversion server.
