Making a SOAP call using Perl SOAP :: Lite and a WSDL file

Question

I want to make a SOAP call for a local web service. A web service is defined through a WSDL file (see below). I want to use Perl and SOAP :: Lite. I tried this:

However, this leads to an XML parsing failed error message. What will be the correct SOAP :: Lite code to call this method?

Since you have WSDL, you do not need to create SOAP :: Data objects at all. Just load the WSDL into your client object and call the method directly:

 my $client = SOAP::WSDL->new(wsdl => $url_of_wsdl); my $result = $client->$method(@arguments);

It looks like it's about a year, so this may not be relevant. Anyway, based on the soap :: lite documentation in CPAN, it looks like you want to do this:
