Launch the Apple Stocks app with the selected fund

I would like to launch the Apple Stocks application to display information about a specific stock on a phone that has not been hacked. I am not interested in how to get a quote or draw your own stock by simply opening Stocks.app.

I was hoping the Stocks app would have a custom URL format, so opening a URL like stocks://AAPL would do the trick. But I did not find anything documenting such a scheme, and I suspect that it does not exist.

Any other ideas, or is it impossible to integrate with the native Stocks app?

This does not exist, Apple publishes a list of iPhone URL patterns - Mail, phone, text, Maps, YouTube and iTunes.

Maybe you could just get stock information yourself? There must be some kind of web service that you can use.

Unfortunately, this is not possible because Apple is pulling its stock information from Yahoo! Finance. Perhaps you can try opening UIWebView / Safari and switching to Yahoo! Funding as the best best?
