I would like to write a simple application that should display notes on the stage (musical notes on music staff). This is not for writing music notation software, it's just for showing some staff notes in readonly mode. I could, of course, have an image as a background with empty staff and draw notes ... But, of course, it takes time.

Is there a suitable VCL component?

Of course, the richer, the better, in any case, even a basic component that can display notes one by one will be sufficient. If the TMusicStaff instance is called MyMusicStaff, I can add notes to it as follows:

MyMusicStaff.Add([G4,F4,D4]) 

(of course, here, in the "Add" method, I do not indicate the duration, or if they are in a chord or melodically, this is just to give an idea).

One possibility is to draw notes on a canvas using a musical note font, such as this one .
