What is an easy way to check 304 reponses?

I need to check if my 304 responses work, but my development environment is pretty complicated in power no-cache.

Is there an easy way to change the maximum value of the cache management cache before it leaves?

Perhaps I'm a little optimistic in the hope that chrome (or extension or FF) has a console command that allows me to change the if-modified-since header and then send the request. Maybe insert something into a telnet connection?

If you have access to curl , an easy way:

curl -H "If-Modified-Since: Sat, 15 May 2010 12:06:39 GMT" -i http://www.wikipedia.org | grep "HTTP/"

You can use tamper data - its firefox plugin that allows you to change request headers. See https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/966/
