Are there any other Grash like Groovy extended shells?

Grash seems to be an interesting approach to taking groovy to the next step in terms of connectivity and monitoring Java applications. However, it seems that he never acted in film and remained a toy. Has anyone done something like this, how did it happen? Are there any other libraries like Grash that do more?

Grass does not seem to be supported anymore by the links on the post blog in which they are presented.

However, there are several tools for monitoring listed in here and here for JMX , which I think should provide the information you need.

And for interactive Groovy there are groovyConsole and GroovyShell .
