CRM is not really magical. It is just a database application that is centered around customers. If I were you, I would sign up for lawsuits with some of the big players in the crm industry. Salesforce , SugarCRM , Saleslogix , to name a few (thousands more). The best advice I have is to start with the customer master record and then do the rest plagiarism extension. No, 2 companies will really use the CRM system the same way. The more flexibility you can provide, the wider your application will use (obviously, obviously).
