Move to Mercurial Import

Question

I'm trying to move some repositories from Perforce to Kiln (FOCBugz Mercurial-compatible VCS) and I'm having some problems.

Since Kiln is not migrated directly from Perforce, I go through the Perforce -> Mercurial -> Kiln approach, but I have some difficulties with PF for Mercurial conversion.

I run

hg convert //depot/... kiln-hg 

but it accidentally crashes when importing the list of changes, always at ~ # 4030. Once it reaches the end of the list of changes, then it goes:

 3751 change file structure 

and just stops (or so it seems).

Can anyone understand why this could be?

I don’t know why the converter doesn’t help (but make sure you are using the latest mercury), but you can try using performance . After that, you could possibly clone the resulting repo.
