This is not a programming issue, but I try here no less.
I used latex for my reports. But the people I work with need a little change and don't have latex skills. Openoffice is the way to go. But saving ggplot images with a resolution of dpi> 100 makes really ugly graphics. dpi = 600 is not a race (for example, a huge legend). So what to do?
I am currently saving (still via ggsave) to eps - which openoffice can import. But the performance is not very good.
Googling I found an error for poor eps performance in OOo, and also talked about an unrealized svg function. But no one is helping me now.
If you work with ggplot2 and OOo - what are you doing? For some reason, I was unsuccessful with the PDF conversion.
