Create a Flash interface for WordPress?

My interlocutor wants to create a WordPress blog, but since he is picky about design (in particular, fonts), he wants to use Flash for the interface - display, content creation, user interface, etc. He is looking for a plug - in this the user enters the Flash interface and converts it to the appropriate PHP for WordPress. I never used Flash, so I didn’t know what to say to him, except that it sounds silly. Is there a better answer than this?

Flash can store and receive information via HTTP quite easily, and I think Wordpress makes most of the things accessible through the XML-RPC interface, so you can write a Flash client that made the whole screen and just used Wordpress to save the data.

I'm not sure how this could be “wordpress,” though, not just a Flash-based blog that used the tiny bit of the Wordpress Database.

This has already been done here, start by reading this and you will be on your way: http://www.blog.noponies.com/archives/257

After posting this post, I came across this book that was just published. This concerns the inclusion of Flash in Drupal sites, which, as I know, do not strictly correspond to what my friend was looking for (he specifically mentioned Wordpress), but maybe I can direct it to Drupal instead of Wordpress.

It seems like a lot of work if your friends ask a question, it's just picky about its fonts. I would visit an article like this:

http://net.tutsplus.com/videos/screencasts/the-easiest-way-to-use-any-font-you-wish/

which actually allows you to convert the font file to javascript, which can be used anywhere on the web. Hope this helps!

It doesn't really work much. I use the Zend Framework to communicate with WP and send information back and forth in Flash. http://flashcms.patrick-segarel.com I'm not sure if this solution can be “packaged” into a plug-in, it doesn’t make anything simpler as such, it just allows you to have a great CMS integrated with Flash.
