How to disable copy file when dragging and dropping

According to doc

Emacs supports drag and drop: deleting a file in a regular window Emacs visits the file using this window. As an exception, deleting a file in the window that displays the Dired buffer moves or copies the file to the displayed directory.

How do I turn off moving or copying a file in standby so that emacs visits the file in any mode?

Set dired-dnd-protocol-alist to nil .

 (setq dired-dnd-protocol-alist nil)
