Removing a Dividing Line from a UISplitViewController

Guys, I know that there is a similar question, but the thread seems to be inactive, and I really want this question to be answered. It annoyed me for several days.

I am wondering how to remove the dividing line between the Master and Detail view in the UISplitViewController. I know that it can be deleted / hidden / closed, because I see some applications in the store without this line.

I tried setting backgroundColor to clear the colors in my views, but to no avail. So SO community, you are my only hope!

There is nothing in the documented API that would allow you to do this. It mainly works with images using UIImageView to work with this line.

Instead, it does not look like a UISplitviewer, you may have your own views. For example, you can have 2 views in the view controller, where you can apply the design you need to view.

In fact, you cannot remove the separator between the main and detailed views. If you want to hide any view, you can make the height and width of the view equal to 0.0, so that the other view fully occupies the screen
