Is there any way to insert code snippets / blocks into gmail / wave / gdocs?

Question

Often I want to send a code by email without adding a file. Are there any gmail / google wave / gdocs plugins for code sharing?

Gmail will obviously be most useful.

Usually I just set the font to something monospaced and click on the paste.

There is a prettifier code gadget for the wave that can help.

You can use a service like pastie or pastebin , and then link it in your mail.

Alternatively, you can also use ToHTML to create HTML and then copy / paste it into your mail.

Check out code.google.com . This may be a good solution for you. In addition, Google recently bought EtherPad, so I hope it will soon be a good solution.
