Want to learn Microsoft-Dynamics CRM. Please suggest for beginners Dynamics?

I need to work on a Dynamics project in the next 3 months with a pharmaceutical client. I have been working on .NET technologies for the last couple of years. Now I'm interested in learning about Microsoft Dynamics.

Please suggest how and where to start for Dynamics beginners ... your ideas / any links / materials / books / books / Training / And your experience?

I found the material from Sonoma Partners useful when I was working with CRM. Their book Microsoft Dynamics CRM Programming was very helpful. Their blog is fine, but not very developer oriented - http://blog.sonomapartners.com/ .

Other useful stuff I found:

I got a CRM4 book: Working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Nice and thick introductory book.

I have Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 programming, both of which are excellent. I would suggest getting both. Working with the header really helps to understand how MS CRM works; the name of the program helps in more complex development tasks. Both are partners of Sonoma.

I used Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 Programming (Microsoft Press) and CRM as a Rapid Development Platform by David Yak.

The programming book really helped me deal with the SDK.

David yack was a really good introduction to the platform.

Both CRM and CRM programming are good books, but make sure you check your CRM version before buying these books, as there are a few new things added in the 2011 version (the dynamic list is one of the most important).

The book I like best is step by step. It is much more practical for me (others may vary) also get a 30-day free trial of dynamic CRM from here to practice → CRM.DYNAMICS.COM

I'm in the same boat as you. Just started working with CRM and should learn all this in a few weeks. Another good way - > PluralSight / CRM . Again a free trial, although they are so good that I ended up with a paid account.
