Install Skype on Amazon EC2 Instance

For my application, I need Skype to work on my Amazon EC2 Windows instance. I installed the application and can log in, but I can’t call because I get the message "I can not find your sound card."

Since I am trying to insert sound from an audio file into a phone call, I do not need a sound card on the server. So I need a way around this error message.

I tried installing Virtual Audio Cable, which unfortunately did not work (even if it worked on my desktop machine).

Edit: Version 3 does not work on a Windows 2008 server.

Have you tried using Virtual Audio Cable 3 instead of 4?
