How to add a moving average to a Report Builder 2.0 chart

It drives me crazy. I looked through all the relevant MSDN tutorials , but they talk about ā€œdata field reset zonesā€ and how the menu option ā€œAdd calculation seriesā€ should be there, but it’s not, and there is no screenshot to show what the ā€œzone data field crashes. " This is the menu that I get when I "right-click on a field in the reset field of the data field":

The depressing thing: I know that I saw this material before, but I can’t find it again, it’s not in the ā€œSeries Propertiesā€ dialog box that I see, and I can’t find a tutorial showing how to find this function. I suppose that you can only have a calculated series of certain types of diagrams, or I don’t have any flag turned on or something like that, but I have not seen this mentioned anywhere.

Can you tell me how to add a line showing median information to a chart in Report Builder 2.0? I think I can do this by adding the "Moving Average" through the "Calculated Series", but I cannot find how to add this.

Edit: on another chart, the menu option "Add Calculated Series" is available. It was a columnar table, and the series that I right-clicked on was an expression that used RunningValue .

I had to remove a series of series (from the ā€œdata field drop zoneā€ on the right side of the chart), so all I had was 1) a group of categories (at the bottom of the chart) and 2) a series of data (top of the chart). Then I could right-click on the data series at the top of the chart, and ā€œAdd calculation seriesā€ is a menu item.

I solved this by making the groups as separate series, and then the combined series, which I set to hidden. Then I was able to make a calculation series from a hidden series.
