I am working on a website project that should be hosted on the Microsoft IIS web server. This is HTML, pure HTML, with really good CSS, web standards, etc. I open this website using my computer using Firefox, IE 8.0, Safari, Google Chrome and looks good everywhere.
But when I upload it to the Microsoft IIS server, it changes a few things. eg:
the main menu, which is a navigation bar with drop-down lists, for some reason, apparently, changes the height of the line, and it is larger. Some <h3> or <h2> Alignment also seems wrong ...
And the lines that should surround the photos on the website (for example, the frame is a dashed line) are not displayed. But all other CSS loads completely fine. I do not think this is a problem of the way, since everything is loading normally. But it makes me look bad, and it is very important to do it as soon as possible.
Can someone give me good suggestions on what to look at?
IIS permissions seem fine. I'm not a big fan of Microsoft ... but I need to create a website there. Also, I uploaded the site to my Apache server, and it worked wonders. I would like to change the policy in this corporation, but I can’t. Thank you so much for your kind help.

Update # 2: I just noticed that this site breaks in IE8.0 on IIS, but not on Firefox on IIS. But it still looks good on my IE8.0 when I open the file from my computer.
Update # 3: I turned off Cufon lines and the problem did not disappear. Therefore, I do not think this is a problem. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. But this is what I found out.
Update # 4: Playback in compatibility mode leads me to see my site running on IE8.0 but the computer in the neighborhood still looks bad. And I should not use this parameter to make it look good, otherwise all users would have to do the same, and this is not an idea. I got a little confused with QuirksMode, I just changed the site’s doctype, in HTML 4.01 Transitional, but everything is almost the same. All CSS files load ... but are not interpreted well.
