What is the preferred affordable and semantically correct coding method for this type of data design?

  • Table
  • UL, LI
  • DIV, SPAN

For the icons I should use for each place, or should there be an icon from CSS sprites? If we use css sprite here, then how to encode, and what happens when the images are turned off?

Each link will open in a new window, and should I indicate the file size for both sighted and blind users?

So, what is the best way to make this project and the best way to show the icon and specify all types of users who will open the file in a new window and file size?

The table of contents should be accessible and understandable as best as possible in all conditions

  • For a familiar user, even if images are disabled
  • for screen user
  • for a text browser user.
  • and if css is disabled

Definitely work for tables, hands down.

As for which images to use, if you need to serve users from the screen, I would say that it is best to use ordinary images, with "PDF" / "Audio" / "Video" as ALT texts. They will be displayed if images are disabled.

The file size can be in the title tag of the link indicating the loading of the IMO.
