URL Rewrite Missing from IIS Manager (IIS7)

I just finished creating a new web server (2k8 x64) and set "URL Rewrite" and "Routing Application Request", but noticed that the option "URL Rewrite" in IIS Manager is missing.

I messed up a bit by reinstalling both modules several times in different ways, and then gave up.

I came back later, but found that the β€œsomehow” icon appeared.

Does anyone have an explanation?

Thanks in advance.

Rabbie

The only time I saw this was when you opened IIS Manager, when you did not have the IISRewrite module / patch installed.

Then you close / open the dispatcher and appears.

(Actually, this is what happened, and how I found your question!)

It may not be installed. http://www.iis.net/downloads/microsoft/url-rewrite#additionalDownloads has download links on microsoft.com and they list it compatible with all versions of IIS 7-10. Install this, and then restart IIS Manager. The link to x64 indicates that AMD stands on behalf of, although for Intel, I tested this installation on Intel 64 servers.
