Introducing interesting events

Question

I can not find any resources related to the implementation of the Java implementation of interesting javascript tags, where the tags are added on the client side, and you can also delete tags on the client side. I'm just looking for a way to select multiple objects to use in a query without using a list with multiple selections (combo box?). The tag format is very useful. This is also similar to Facebook messaging, where you can specify multiple recipients.

Any pointers?

Here is a nice new jQuery plugin that will even put an image around each tag and add a delete button.
