I have not seen one, no.

But I would say that even if it existed, it probably would not be so good. It is difficult to convey the meaning of the code when you are dealing with a poetic language such as JavaScript; There are too many ways to do such things.

The worst part is that you cannot directly map MT to JQ. They have slightly different functions, and each of them will rely on additional things to be implemented.

I think you will get a much cleaner, more massive result, more convenient for the user who will recode it himself. This is a good opportunity to improve the original too, which cannot be bad.

although there are no recommendations that I know of, I would start by looking at them:

http://www.jqueryvsmootools.com - the same thing is done in both frames side by side, aaron newton and comment contribs

http://www.davidwaslh.name - mootools core team dev, which also works a lot with jquery and often issues tips on interchangeable code between two frameworks, it even has a plugin that allows jquery syntax for mootools - I know that it the opposite of what you want, but this is the beginning - I think he coded it to demonstrate how flexible mootools are and to make it more attractive to jquery users who want to go further, but it is very useful.

blending the two frameworks seems pretty popular, even today I saw it on twitter: http://jsfiddle.net/fate/jGhpc/ (mootools style "Classes in jquery)

or ryan florence ACTUAL implementation of the OOP mootools model inside jquery: http://ryanflorence.com/object-oriented-jquery-with-mootools-pigs-take-flight/

bottom line - you will need to do some work, but it’s good, it really will give you an idea of which structure is best for you.
