Can I pack the Erlang program as an .exe file?

It must be standalone, some Erlang runtime library and BEAM files. This means that anyone can run the program with one click of the mouse by running .exe from a network drive, without having to install Erlang or anything else.

Traditionally, you should deploy the emulator and everything that is needed both from the standard library, and from your application along with it. Wings3D does this too.

The reltool can help you with this. You can also pack beam files in the form of an .ez archive, which significantly reduces the number of files (read the code module documents). It is as close as possible to a β€œsingle executable file” with a standard toolchain, but it works quite well on all platforms.

For a while there was Stand Alone Erlang , but I'm not sure of its status - I suspect that it is not particularly in production or in widespread use (despite the fact that Joe Armstrong writes it). You would be nice if Google is a little more.
