How to get book information from Amazon web service

I am completely new to Amazon Web Service. I need to get book information from Amazon for my web application. I checked Amazon Web Service, but there are so many products and services. Which should I focus on?

It looks like you want an advertising API - it is not limited to books only, as it supports other products sold by Amazon, but it looks like what you are looking for.

Amazon typically provides documentation for all of its products (EC2, S3, ..) at http://aws.amazon.com/

After choosing your code language, you will find more specific documentation for what you need.

eg. I am using python boto which has additional documentation for aws's. http://boto.cloudhackers.com/en/latest/
