Erlang AMQP client library

Is there an Erlang AMQP client library that is not tied to the hips using RabbitMQ?

I know about http://hg.rabbitmq.com/rabbitmq-erlang-client/ , but I would like something more untied ... the pain when it comes to packing this stuff for a Debian repository, installation, etc. .

I know that this is not what you want, but I found that it is not so bad to collect the rabbit bit that the rabbitmq-erlang client needs, plus the rabbitmq-erlang client, in Debian packages, and getting that works quite easily.

I have build-dep on a rabbitmq server, although this is not the cleanest solution. And it never went into production.

At that time, I did not find an alternative AMQP client for erlang.
