Which Silverlight Control Set is better? Telerik or ComponentArt?

I used ComponentArt, but I just looked through Telerik and it looks like they can have better functionality at the same price.

If you have used both options, then please let me know your opinion.

For 3 years, Telerik controls have been used. at the moment, I do not plan to execute any user interface without them ... ever.

I have no idea that the representative who answered that they are difficult to install / unistall from the project is talking about ... honestly. in relation to the fact that "replacing radpanel with something light weight takes one day", they are built on top of ajax aspnet and actually have more features and performance (relative to the xmlhttp panel) they are much faster. aspnet does a full page loop of its not even ajax its just a trick to keep the page blinking. the same traffic can be seen in the violinist with or without them. much less with the telly.

in terms of SL controls. they are without a doubt the best on the market

In the past, I inherited code bases infected with Telerik junk, and I highly recommend avoiding their stuff at all costs.

One good thing I can say about them is that it only takes a day of effort to remove their awful Ajax RadPanel things and replace them with something light and normal.

I have not tried my Silverlight materials, but when I see the quality of my other products, I do not plan to do this.

I have used Telerik controls for AJAX in my projects over the past couple of years, and so far I have no complaints. My productivity has improved significantly and my customers are very pleased with the results. Jason, I don’t know why you view Telerik AJAX controls as a poor quality toolkit. Ajax panels are just wrappers around asp UpdatePanels with some items that help you manage asynchronous requests. In addition, their ajax manager is very convenient when you want to define declarative ajax relationships through the constructor or to initiate ajax requests from the client and intercept them on a server with simplified coding.

I am also starting to evaluate the Silverlight toolkit for some of my future projects, and at the moment my impressions are more positive than negative (compared to ComponentArt).
