Memcache vs MySQL in memory

I have a database that will not grow much. Its current size is about 1 GB.

It is desirable to achieve maximum performance.

Question When should Memcache be used or just use the MySQL Innodb function to store all my contents in RAM (innodb_buffer_pool_size)?

I would only use memcached if you need more than one server to keep everything in RAM. Otherwise, you add complexity for a little functionality.

mysql improves performance on many threads, and then memcached. so when you get a lot of simultaneous requests, memcached will respond almost at the same time, but mysql time will be worse.

In any case - until you get about 3-5 thousand tf (or more) to write - there is no reason to make the project infrastructure more complex.
