Is there a shortcut in Visual Studio to move across multiple lines, but keep the cursor in one place?

CTRL + down arrow does this, but only 1 line at a time. Is there a shortcut to skip multiple lines, but keep the kuz in one place? You might expect the CTRL + page to work, but that just puts the cursor at the bottom of the screen.

Tools + Options, Text editor, select a language or use "All languages", check "Enable virtual space". This ensures that the carriage stays in the same column when you move it vertically, no matter what text is in the row. My very personal preference.

Tools + Macros + Recording is an easy way to generate the required macro. Tools + Customize + Keyboard to assign a keyboard shortcut to it.

Not. You could define your own macro, although associate it with a shortcut: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/a0003t62.aspx
