Transfer test cases and defects from the Quality Center to TFS 2008/2010

Question

A tool that can be used to transfer (or even better .. synchronize) test cases and errors between:

TFS 2008 and Quality Center 9.2 (or later)
TFS 2010 and Quality Center 9.2 (or later)

I know the following tools:

Test Case Verifier (Excel / MHT)
TFS Bug Item Synchronizer 2.2 for Quality Center

Shai raiten also mentions on his blog about the QC 2 Team System 2010 migration tool he was working on and its implementation. But could not find the link to download the tool.

Before moving on to coding with the TFS SDK and QC components to come up with my own tool, I need some materials from the stackoverflow community.

You can use Scrat to migrate FULL HP Quality Center projects to TFS 2010.

Transfer all quality control elements (Requirements, errors, test cases, attachments, history and links between elements) to TFS 2010 and their relationship, Fully customizable (you decide what and how to transfer each element) or completely mirror migration (migrate everything "as there is" ).

You should take a look at the Quality Center Synchronizer , it can be used to synchronize defects and requirements from the Quality Center.

And now it even supports synchronization of QC defects with TFS, for QC 9.2 take a look at this site and here for QC 10

I don’t know if it’s too late. But if not, then you can look at the TFS Integration Platform .

I do not know if he has an adapter created for Quality Center. But this requires you to do what you want to do (transfer and synchronize between TFS and some other tracking system).

They have several adapters and APIs to create new ones. I would advise you to use this API, and not just ride it yourself.
