How to sort objects by rating 5 stars

It is too difficult to implement one of the above links. Is there a more convenient and simple way to sort objects using a five-star user rating?

Think of jokes. People say that jokes and others rate them from 1 to 5 stars.
If
a) 5 users rate the joke with 5,
b) another 1000 people evaluate another joke with 4 and finally
c) another 1000 points for another joke from 3.8,
I want this specific order:

• joke b)
• joke c)
• joke a)
