How to select and delete, move multiple items in a tree in Sitecore 6 content editor?

Now you can easily do this with Sitecore Rocks ! Download it directly from your VS 2010 and try it. To manage multiple items, you just need to select those that have the Ctrl key, and then use the context menu - all known operations :)

I did not find a way to do this other than selecting the entire folder / parent. I think this is just a limitation of the user interface. I would like to make a mistake.
