What css hacks do we use to make cross-browser layout compatible

• May pass W3C verification
• Will work forever
• Will never create a browser version in the future

What are the alternatives that can pass the w3c check for a popular CSS hack that are not valid?

, eg

underline, zoom:1 , etc.

my goal is to compile a list of W3C proven and non-problematic CSS hacks and methods that can be useful in making CSS layouts compatible with browsers.

we mainly use CSS hacks for IE, but sometimes we need Hacks for other desktop browsers.

The main called browsers are:

• IE6, IE7, IE8
• The latest final version of Safari.
• Firefox 3.6, 3.5, 3.0, and 2.0
• Opera Latest Final Version
• Latest Google Chrome Updates.
