Does anyone know an FAX adapter for BizTalk Server 2009?

I found one example in CodeProject that was implemented for (I believe) BTS 2006. It seems that this will work, and if nothing else, this is a reasonable implementation of the base BTS Samples adapter. I'm just wondering if there are any commercial adapter packages, including the FAX adapter, or if someone else here has encountered the need to send fax data from the BTS application and how they decided to solve the problem.

Part of me says that I can just write a TIFF fax and a small XML message to a folder (with address information, etc.), and then write an external service to send faxes using the built-in fax system in Win2K3. This is similar to another possible alternative, as it is responsible for confirming the availability of facsimile equipment, queue monitoring, error handling, etc. Outside of the BTS application.

In any case, I am open to thought and suggestions - thanks!

Well, it looks like I'm either asking a completely ridiculous question, or there is no turnkey solution. I spent some time learning about custom adapters and wrote my own (adaptive adapter sample provided by Microsoft) to work with Microsoft Fax Service. It should work fine, as the service provides the queue, reducing competition for hardware. Thanks anyway...

One of the main design goals of BizTalk Server is to facilitate the exchange of business documents between trading partners. To achieve this, BizTalk Server includes several adapters that enable the interaction between BizTalk Server and trading partners using recognized data protocols and document formats. hope this help: http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/15748/Fax-Adapter
